Yet Another Paper Posy
I bet you’ll never guess I took these photos after 11pm. Real professional style – one hand holds the camera, the other holds the flowers. (Deep breaths, Peter, just take deep breaths…) I was a little sleepy.

Wow – these are the best ones yet. The colors and patterns are amazing. Great work!
Did you shoot these pix in a studio? Did you use 3 Troingston Lights and fixed point Pony Stand? Tell me your real secret.

I would have never guessed you took them fast, great Job. Much better when I try and write when it’s late and I’m half asleep.

thanks for the comments, guys! peter, you’re way to kind.
and amy – this one only took a few hours. maybe two and a half? the time always goes really quickly, and it’s quicker when i have a plan. but you know how that goes – sometimes you think you’ve got the ideas all lined up for colors and shapes and then they just don’t do what you thought they would! the paper isn’t quite right, or the form doesn’t pan out.
this last one, i was trying to make another berry-type sprig with the pearly beads, and i had it all wrapped and wired, but in the end i felt it just looked dumpy so i ripped it out. then i paired those beads with the beige semi-translucent paper and i thought they looked much better.
anyway, i’m really glad you like them. they’re fun to make.
