Laura, you popped off one of the all-time greatest lines I can remember reading by anyone when you said "There can only be a handful of miraculous events for which the sole appropriate observation is sleeping through them, so you can see I missed a major opportunity today." Perfectly observed and phrased. While you're enjoying your eight, let me remind you about one of the pleasures of two....the unexpected. Yesterday we were playing and young S started saying "purple song! purple song!" This left me a little befuddled so I tried prying with a bunch of questions which led nowhere until I asked "where is the purple song?" at which point she said "youuuuuuuu.............TUBE!" Then she ran into the office and said "i just check my email". I love eight, eight IS great.
