HESS
Our Beautiful Aunt Mary and Uncle Dick gave Hot Wheels a new HESS race car for Christmas. It’s actually better than a race car, if that’s even possible. It’s a race car with a smaller race car inside it. A nested race car. He has been spending many a happy hour since, getting the race cars acquainted with the truck that he received last year. It’s going so well, they’re already on to stunts. They’ve perfected a moving transfer of the smaller race car from truck to big race car. It rocks.

Hot Wheels and his cousins are happy fellows these days with their new Hess cars! We had our annual Christmas visit with Beautiful Aunt Mary and the crew today so B and J are enjoying their Hess race cars, too. (Between you and me, I think Joe may be having the most fun with it!) We missed you today!

Please provide video of this trick. It sounds AWESOME. Also I reject Kristen’s implication that there is something unusual going on regarding who enjoys what toys around here. I also enjoy the legos, geomags, wii, and the nerf guns more than the kids. No surprise about the Hess trucks.

Joe – I have to say that around here, the same is true – for the most part I believe Tom and I enjoy the kids’ toys even more than they do. Although I’m not sure anyone can touch the pure devotion that Hot Wheels has for Hot Wheels. And I’m not talking about narcissism here. Maybe nascarism.
